 We will train you and provide resources.
 Invest your time and talent in the future of the Catholic Church!

With all the changes, it is so important that we have an open line of communication.  As you have seen on the registration form, we have a field called “Preferred contact”.  This is the person that will be receiving all the emails or texts.  Please make sure that at least one parent is checked and that this parent is the one who will be communicating the information and changes that we send.  We will be sending all important information to you through Flocknote.  If you have not received any Flocknote emails or texts from us, please check your trash or spam folder to see if it was automatically routed there.  Once you tell your email software that this is not spam, you will be getting all future communications.  Emergencies, class closing, weather days, sacramental preparation classes, retreats and other events will all be sent out via Flocknote.  If you choose to opt out of Flocknote – on the Faith Formation or the basic parish level, you will not receive any of these future messages. 

Registration for the Sacramental Preparation programs (First Reconciliation, Eucharist and Confirmation) have their own requirements, fees and separate meeting times.  Your child/children must be attending Faith Formation the year before and during their preparation year for the reception of their Sacraments.  Any children over the age of seven who have not been Baptized must attend the RCIA sessions to receive their Sacraments.

We are so happy to work with you on your child/children’s Faith formation.  It takes many volunteers to make this possible.  If you can help, we sure could use some more catechists, teacher’s helpers, hall monitors, parking lot monitors, office workers, substitute teachers, and event volunteers.  What a witness it is to your children when you are also willing to sacrifice some time to help others come to know and experience the love of God!  There are also some great opportunities for Adult Faith Formation to help you on your own spiritual journey, including Adult First Communion and Confirmation preparation and marriage preparation.

Con todos los cambios, es muy importante que nos podamos comunicar con ustedes. Como ha visto en el formulario de registración, tenemos una sección llamada “Contacto Preferido”. Esta es la persona que recibirá todos los correos electrónicos o mensajes de texto.  Asegúrese de que al menos se determine a uno de los padres como ese contacto principal y que esa persona sea la que comunicara la información y los cambios que le enviamos. Le enviaremos toda la información importante a través de Flocknote. Si no ha recibido ningún correo electrónico o mensaje de texto de nuestra parte a través de Flocknote, por favor verifique que no se haya ido directamente al buzón de spam, que indica que es correo que usted no desea. Una vez que usted cambie esa preferencia en su buzón de correo electrónico de que esos mensajes no son spam, podrá recibir todas las comunicaciones que enviaremos en el futuro.  La información de emergencia, el cierre de clases, los días con mal clima, las clases de preparación sacramental, los retiros y otros eventos se enviarán a través de Flocknote. Si es su opción el no participar o recibir mensajes a través de Flocknote, para las clases de Formación de Fe o mensajes de la parroquia, entonces no recibirá ninguno de los mensajes que sean enviados en el futuro.

La inscripción para los programas de preparación sacramental (Primera reconciliación, Eucaristía y Confirmación) tienen sus propios requisitos, costos y horarios de reunión separados. Su hijo/a (s) debe de estar asistiendo a las clases de Formación de Fe un año antes y durante su año de preparación para la recepción de sus sacramentos. Cualquier niño/a mayor de siete años que no haya sido bautizado/a debe asistir a las sesiones de RICA para recibir sus sacramentos.

Estamos muy contentos de trabajar con usted en la formación de fe de su hijo/a.  Se necesitan muchos voluntarios para que esto sea posible. Si usted puede ayudar, asegúrese de que podríamos tener más catequistas, ayudantes de maestros, ayudante de pasillo, ayudante de estacionamiento, ayudantes de oficina, maestros sustitutos y voluntarios de eventos. ¡Qué testimonio seria para sus hijos/as cuando también usted está dispuesto a sacrificar un poco de su tiempo para ayudar a otros a conocer y sentir el amor de Dios! También hay grandes oportunidades para que la Formación de Fe de Adultos le ayude en su propio vida espiritual, incluyendo la preparación para la Primera Comunión y la Confirmación para adultos y la preparación para el matrimonio.
