The Altar Society raises funds to provide for the church linens, sacramental wine, hosts, and candles by hosting bake sales, sponsoring the Knights of Columbus Bingo Concession stand and managing the votive candle stands. The group sponsors Senior Luncheons for members of the parish community and donates to other special needs. A pamphlet is available in the office.

Members participate in the life of the parish through visitation of families, the sick, both in their homes and in hospitals and through collaboration in every apostolic and missionary undertaking sponsored by the parish. Every legionary is required to carry out a weekly apostolic work in the spirit of faith and in union with Mary. NATURAL FAMILY PLANNING Lynette Salmon [email protected] Natural Family Planning (NFP) is the general title for the scientific, natural, and moral methods of family planning that can help married couples either achieve or postpone pregnancy. NFP methods are based on the observation of the naturally occurring signs and symptoms of the fertile and infertile phases of a woman's menstrual cycle. No drugs, devices, or surgical procedures are used to avoid pregnancy. Since the methods of NFP respect the love-giving (unitive) and life-giving (procreative) nature of the conjugal act, they support God's design for married love!

PRAYER BLANKET MINISTRY Denise Sickinger [email protected] Volunteers in this ministry make fleece blankets for those who are sick or going through a difficult time. Upon completion, the blankets are blessed, and each recipient is placed on a prayer list. The blanket is a symbol of faith and sharing the community’s commitment of prayer.
RESPECT LIFE COMMITTEE Lynette Salmon [email protected] The Respect Life Committee's purpose is to assist Archbishop Vasquez in proclaiming the Gospel of Life and the dignity of all persons, from conception to natural death, to our parish community and to help bring about a conversion of heart and mind for all to be open to God's special gift of life. This is accomplished in the parish through educational offerings, prayer and worship events, public witness and outreach events.
ROSARY GUILD Shirley Smaistrla [email protected] The Rosary Guild makes rosaries for missions and the clergy. The group meets on Tuesday mornings, but members can collect supplies to take home. The rosaries are taken to the Office of the Aging from where they are distributed to schools, hospitals or anywhere they are needed. The guild is fully funded by donations. SOCIAL SERVICE MINISTRY - FOOD PANTRY VOLUNTEERS Sandy Hughes [email protected] Volunteers help with preparing for food distribution throughout the week, food distributions are on Monday and Wednesdays. Volunteers also assist with Easter and Christmas baskets. Students seeking service hours are welcome with an accompanying adult.

Through engaging content and life-giving conversations, TMIY inspires deep spiritual transformation. Each year focuses on a central theme, with 13 impactful sessions in both the fall and spring. Designed to meet men right where they are, TMIY helps each man take the next step in his spiritual journey. We currently gather on Saturday mornings for meaningful fellowship and intentional connections that support a life of superabundance in Christ. Come grow in faith, brotherhood, and purpose. QUILTING MINISTRY Sharon Bogusky [email protected] Mission statement: To provide our parishioners comfort & hope through our quilts. Quilters come together every Monday morning to work on the hand-made quilts. The quilts are blessed and given to parishioners who are experiencing a health crisis. The quilts are free of charge, although any donation is gratefully accepted.
WIDOWS AND WIDOWERS Deacon Bob & Aurora Leicht [email protected] & [email protected] This ministry to parish widows and widowers offers like-minded support, that helps to navigate the challenges of grief and isolation after losing a spouse. This ministry meets the last Thursday of every month for complementary lunch, sharing, prayers, and fellowship. Other activities include speakers and group outings.
